Search your feelings…

I just finished watching Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.  Remember, I HATED the first two prequels.

DUDE, IT’S FUCKING GREAT.  It’s everything it should be.  Sure there’s bad acting and stilted dialogue, but the last hour of the film is fucking riveting, and the transformation of Anakin into Vader, his battle with Obi-wan, Palpatine vs. Yoda, the creation of the suit...it’s all simply wonderful.  I loved it.

The scene where you get to see Lord Vader in his proper attire for the first time literally sent a series of chills down my spine.

Fuck anyone who says ‘Sith’ isn’t worth watching.  Plot holes and bad acting be damned, it’s a damn fine addition to the Star Wars saga.

Episode III KICKED MAJOR ASS. It was worth waiting around 4 hours in line and going to school the same day all tired.  You know what(in my opinion) was one of the coolest sequences in the movie?

“Execute Order 66”

And for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet, you will be greatly disappointed to find out that Anakin did NOT give Jar Jar Binks the infamous “force choke”.

However, (unlike the first 2 prequels) you’ll be happy to know that Jar jar has no more than 2-3 seconds in the film and (hallelujah!!) no speaking part!  Yeah!!!!

I’ll see it tonight.
Ihave been hearing that this one is more"adult" and iincludes everything, or near to everythign that we wanted in a STARWARS movie.
I heard of a Rumor about a STARWARS TV series?

Harley: It does, it does contain everything we wanted.  I felt it was truly the perfect lead-in to the originals, and I have decided to forgive the first two prequels as necessary evils to get us to this climax.

As for the TV, apparently many people from the world of Lucas have confirmed it.  Animated from what I read, and possibly *two* shows.  Maybe it won’t suck!

CSgt_MCJROTC, I was absolutely riveted by that sequence and had no problem believing it, unlike some reviewers out there.  Those guys are trained to follow orders, they’re frigging clones.  They’re BRED for it.

That segment is kind of extra cool if you played Star Wars Republic Commando, because in the game you ARE that guy.

My absolute favorite scene has to be the battle on the volcano planet, that one moment when they clash overhead lightsabers and the lava erupts to frame them in the clinch...simply spectacular.

Exactly. There’s this idiot review on IGN that says it is unrealistic that the clones would turn on the Jedi just like that. Bullshit. In Attack of the Clones, the Grey typed aliens tell Obi-Wan that they’re made to be “less independent” and obey orders.

I thought the funeral parade linked nicely to the victory parade at the end of Episode I. Truely sad.

I thought the acting and the dialogue was fine and often good. Even the “you’re breaking my heart” seemed to work fine. The special effects were the best out there ever. Return of the King is unworthy compared to this in my opinion.

Is it just me, or was there just a tad of current politics reflected there? n.n;;
At the very least, there are times where I feel like shouting “YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE THE CHOSEN ONE!” at Bush.
Speaking of which, head to iFilm.com and do a search for “star wars l33t”, I guarantee you’ll ROFL.

It’s called paying homage, JasonB.
