This pisses me off
I was the first one all over this story days ago. I sent Malkin an email last night. Today she links to someone else who just started looking at it.
It’s one thing to hold a grudge over me calling her uptight, but damn...a little credit maybe? Oh well...at least someone is looking at this story besides me.
*UPDATE*
Just had a nice exchange with John at Wuzzadem...I should apologize here if this came off like I was pissed at him, because that’s absolutely not the case. I was thrilled that someone else was seeing it as well. John also told me he was aware of Rodrigue and his mother’s passing, but refrained from posting until learning the date of her death...a date that makes Broussard a plain old liar.
As for me...I smelled something rotten as soon as I watched the video, and said so in comments to various places, where I was told I was dead wrong, called names, etc. Turns out I was anything but wrong. I wish I had posted something here that night...but there just wasn’t any info yet to back up my gut feeling, and the entire internet was weeping along with Broussard and would likely have dismissed it as “right wing” character assasination anyway.

If you run a Google blog search for "aaron broussard" and "drowned" on Sep 4, you'll find 257 results: 256 indignant bloggers outraged at the Bush administration, and one skeptical posting from me. (Lies.com seems to have been the next to get on record questioning Broussard, with this Sep 5 posting.)
