Rowdy Roddy Piper diagnosed with cancer
Damn.
Canadian professional wrestling legend “Rowdy” Roddy Piper has been diagnosed with lymphoma and will begin undergoing treatment immediately.
In a statement posted Monday on Piper’s web site, the 52-year-old Saskatoon native said doctors found a cancerous tumour on a disc in his spine. Back discomfort had forced Piper to leave World Wrestling Entertainment’s tour of Europe and return to North America two weeks ago.
“It seems like I have been fighting someone, something, someplace, in some manner, my whole life,” Piper said in a statement. “But this fight is one I am gonna win!”
Piper was overheard telling the tumor that he was “here to kick ass and chew bubblegum” and that he was “all out of bubblegum.” Witnesses say the tumor cried a little. Later, Piper said that Chuck Norris and his tears were pussified and that only the Hot Rod could cure cancer. With his mind.
Good luck, Hot Rod!

Damn right! God, I hope he beats this and God forbid he doesn’t, I hope that the WWE doesn’t decide to exploit his death like they have been with Eddie Guerrero
