You know, Dubya’s right:  Gay marriage and doped-up athletes really are more pressing social issues than, say, 50 million uninsured Americans and the exodus of manufacturing jobs the Nation has suffered.  By the way, did anyone hear that the Vatican issued orders to catholic American lawyers to use their expertise to fight the movement for gay marriages/civil unions?  It’s interesting that they think they have a moral authority to issue such a dictum, since their own investigation reveals that priests have molested more than 11,000 kids in the past 50 years…

Michael Moore may be an extremist, but atleast he has the balls to confront the subjects of his scrutiny head-on (K-Mart, GM, NRA), as opposed to some passive/aggressive, chain-smoking dominatrix like Ann Coulter, who likes to lob insults about wounded war vets like Max Cleland from the comfort of some controlled studio environment.  She simply stirs the shit to sell some books or air time, but hand it to Michael Moore (Oscar winner, NY Times Best Seller); at least he cites actual sources and puts the mic under the opponents mouths to allow them a chance to respond.  Guys like Limbaugh, Hannity, Boortz and O’Reilly simply rail on with bombast and buffoonery for hours, or use the volume button to drown out someone who disagrees with them…
